       Closet turntable
blues and soul-   my faith...
          I'm playin' the sax

Just love and blues sing just the way
it was-
         rough-alley soul-
I'm cryin' sweet tender alley and soul
voices of blues hear me all the time...

The following poem titled: "SOUNDTRACKS" is about The Late Great Curtis
Mayfield, Isaac Hayes and their music. Little Child Runnin' Wild by Curtis
Mayfield and The Theme From Shaft by Isaac Hayes. The theme and feel as I
feel it mixed all in with November 1971, a nightscene, daytime, a 1969 Nova-
Super-Sport, a gold 1971 Mustang Mach I as well as the 1971 Dodge Challenger,
downtown and urban neighborhoods. I realize that Curtis Mayfield is not a Stax
Records Artist but
Isaac Hayes is and the mix felt good for the following poem creation. I thought
that it would make a nice addition anyway. Enjoy!

SOUNDTRACKS

                        Curtis Mayfield soundtrack pro-gassed
                        1971 with effects. Isaac and no sounds
                        exhaust-
                                Go special plum-crazy is a
                        71 Dodge Challenger playing Curtis Mayfield
                        and more Hayes-  protrude November 71 impressions
                        smooth to a choppy-idle butterscotch...

             Overshadows about what I am
when I listen to a rhythm sing the blues-

No matter what you're made to feel that
love now, can't be broken in pieces...

song about a friendly stranger in a black
sedan-
       1970-69
Mopar solutions upon Bruce Lee, what you see
is what you get and they all intertwine with
a picture of a blue 1970 Plymouth GTX-
         Sunglasses sunshine or overcast.
My attitude or gas is the blank expression true
to whether you have a sight or not...

love ago, I knew...

Compression-tight love-sewn shadows in
a day so beautiful seed, overlap my pride
clear mists through in a beautiful spring
when the sun rises the dew til' dawn-
     Poses in the back of my mind is what
she sings tomorrow....

Soul lives... I say, Mr. Cool Man-
        Hey, Mr. Ray Charles
in the blues mama cries, is the water
clearer in the ocean? Lead me to know
 is the peaches sweeter on the tree to
Georgia road blues.
        I have the keys-
Get his attention on the piano to know
country and the blues tell us through
life, you're the greatest jazz-player,
time to me with more love outta' sight...
